BMW has just presented its production hyper sports bikes including the M 1000 RR, which will serve as the basis for the Superbikes that will race in the world championship. World SBK 2025 in the hands ofToprak Razgatlioglu and Michael van der Mark.

Regarding this M1000RR vintage 2025, three axes have been developed: increased performance thanks to more engine power, better support on the front axle, a revised frame and steering angle sensor technology.

It thus benefits from a significant increase in the power of the inline four-cylinder engine of 4 kW (6 hp) to reach 160 kW (218 hp) thanks to an extensive set of modifications (see below).

In addition, it benefits from optimised aerodynamics thanks to a new front fairing. The new M Winglets 3.0, which significantly increase downforce, enable even faster lap times on the racetrack. In addition, the Flex Frame has been further developed and now includes a new engine mount on the left side.

BMW Motorrad has also made improvements to the control systems. The Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) now features the new Slide Control function thanks to steering angle sensor technology. This results in a further subdivision of DTC into Slip Control and Slide Control. The introduction of steering angle sensor technology has also led to the new Brake Slide Assist function of the BMW Race ABS Pro. Combined with the M short-stroke throttle, this function provides a significant increase in performance and control.

As before, the new M RR is offered in two versions: the basic variant M 1000 RR in the main colour Lightwhite uni and the M 1000 RR M Competition in the main colour Blackstorm metallic, each combined with graphics in the M colours.
